Valwood Certification Requirements
We have signed an agreement with Valwood to become a training center for them. This means they will accept your class work and additional requirements (stated below) along with a fee and they will certify you. I will begin to work out the additional requirements and make them available to you as soon as possible. Here are the requirements;
- Participants who complete the requirements listed below through the TBC Center for Christian Coaching will be eligible to apply for certification from Valwood:
- Foundations of Christian Coaching (16-hour class)
- Establishing a Dynamic Coaching Relationship (16-hour class)
- Additional 16 hour class to be selected by the participant
- Three one-hour teleclasses
- Six hours of mentor coaching
- Participants requesting certification will submit an application with the following:
- Name, address, e-mail, and telephone number.
- Copies of certificates issued by CCC for each on-site training class
- Date and topic of each teleclass attended (to be verified with CCC)
- Affirmation of completion of six hours mentor coaching (to be verified with CCC)
- Certification application fee of $375
- Upon verification of the application, Valwood will mail certificates which will be considered active for one-year.
- Re-certification is required annually to maintain active status with Valwood. Ten hours of continuing education is required to be eligible for re-certification.
- The following continuing education opportunities will qualify for re-certification purposes:
- On-site coach training classes at CCC or at the Hollifield Leadership Center
- Coach Training webinars offered on-line by Valwood
- Participants requesting re-certification will submit an application with the following: (total of 10 hours of continuing education required)
- Name, address, e-mail, and telephone number.
- Copies of certificates issued by CCC or Valwood for each on-site training class
- Date and topic of each webinar attended (to be verified with Valwood)
- Re-certification application fee of $125
- Upon verification of the application, Valwood will mail renewal certificates which will be considered active for one-year. |
